Night Photography & some Reptiles in Broad Daylight

I stayed at Selva Verde Lodge in Sarapiqui. It's situated in a richly diverse and gorgeous location in the Heredia Province. The naturalist guides there are fantastic, though it would be hard to NOT see a great variety at a place where
465 different species of birds have been recorded. Their guided night tours are not to be missed.

Note to frequent visitors: I update this site constantly, so when you visit again, you'll want to clear the cache of your browser. Otherwise, it may show photos in locations where they should not be, due to the way the data is compressed to house so many large photos in the cloud; (so you may see the photo of a grizzly bear in Puerto Rico with a caption saying it's a parrot). To clear history on a computer, if you select the name of your browser at the top of your screen, for instance Safari, you should see an option to "Clear History". To clear the cache on a phone or tablet, go to settings and to that browser specifically, and select "Clear Cache" or it may say something like "Clear History and Website Data". This should fix any substitutions of a photo showing up in the wrong location, but will need to be done periodically. If you have any questions about how to do this, feel free to send a message through Contact tab at top of this page..
