All of the photos above were taken with an iPhone, before I had a real camera; indeed, the particular solo camping trip I took in the early summer of 2017, when I saw 7 bears in less than 24 hours, is what led to my getting a real camera with a zoom lens!

Note to frequent visitors: I update this site constantly, so when you visit again, you'll want to clear the cache of your browser. Otherwise, it may show photos in locations where they should not be, due to the way the data is compressed to house so many large photos in the cloud; (so you may see the photo of a grizzly bear in Puerto Rico with a caption saying it's a parrot). To clear history on a computer, if you select the name of your browser at the top of your screen, for instance Safari, you should see an option to "Clear History". To clear the cache on a phone or tablet,  go to settings and to that browser specifically, and select "Clear Cache" or it may say something like "Clear History and Website Data". This should fix any substitutions of a photo showing up in the wrong location, but will need to be done periodically.
